I’ve been a big fan of Revolution ever since they launched four years ago. I have a lot of the makeup products which I use almost daily. This year saw the launch of the Revolution skincare range which is exciting. They offer affordable, fuss-free skincare that really works! I’ve got a few products from the range and have been testing them out over the last month or so.

 30% AHA + BHA Peeling Solution

Chemical exfoliators are very big in the skincare world right now. They’re not as harsh as your standard exfoliators which can cause micro tears to your skin. I decided to go for the 30% AHA + BHA Peeling Solution as I had heard so much about it. This product is meant to be used only a couple of times a week. After cleansing, you apply the product onto dry skin and leave it for around ten minutes. Once the ten minutes is up, you remove it with water and then apply your usual serums/moisturisers.

I found that I had to use this a couple of times before I saw a real difference. However, after using it for around a month now I have noticed just how smooth my skin is feeling. The product works by clearing the pores and improving the tone and texture of the skin.

CBD Essence Spray

CBD is everywhere at the moment, so I was really keen to try out this CBD Essence Spray. It’s meant to give your skin a bit of a pick me up and is easy to apply in the spray bottle. It helps to tone down any redness and also to moisturise when your skin is feeling dry.

I find that this leaves a sticky film on my face, so I don’t tend to use it during the day. Instead, I will spray it over my face at night just before I go to bed. By the time I’ve woken up, the sticky feeling has disappeared and my face is left feeling refreshed and moisturised. I was worried it was going to have a weird scent, but it’s quite pleasant.

Quinoa Night Peel

Another peel that I have picked up is the Quinoa Night Peel. This is to be used a couple of times a week and is a lot more gentle than the first one. It gently lifts dead skin cells while promoting natural cell turnover.

I use this twice a week when I feel that I don’t need the 30% AHA + BHA Peeling Solution. I apply it on to a cleansed face before any moisturiser. The difference with this peel is that you don’t need to wash it off and it works overnight. It definitely makes my skin feel a lot smoother and it brightens up my complexion.

Since trying all of these Revolution Skincare products, I’ve noticed a big difference in my skin. I’m definitely going to be picking up some more products in the range from Notino. They now have a selection of face masks too that sound great.
