It may be a bit too early to start using the ‘C word’ but I have a lot of birthdays coming up before December so I have been buying plenty of gifts! I find that you can get so many good gifts on Notino, they have something for everyone and never disappoint.

Candles

You can’t go wrong with a good candle, especially at this time of year. There’s nothing better than getting home after a long, cold day and lighting a scented candle. One of my favourite brands for scented candles is DW Home. I have a lot of their candles myself and often buy them as gifts. Recently I have picked up a couple of new scents that I haven’t tried before. Thunder is the perfect musky scent for autumn. It has hints of white cedarwood, warm birch, bergamot and sun-dappled florals.

The second new scent that I’ve tried is Vanilla Macaron. I find that when you’re buying candles as gifts, anything vanilla scented usually goes down quite well. It’s a universally loved scent and who doesn’t want their home smelling like a tasty macaron?

Body care

Another go-to gift idea for me is body care. I like to give gifts that are useful, so something that the recipient can use for a pamper session is ideal. There are so many different brands on Notino but one fail safe favourite is Dove. They have a range of products, from deodorants to body butters to soaps. I didn’t realise that they also have a couple of exfoliating body scrubs available which would make great gifts. I picked up the Dove Pomegranate Seeds & Shea Butter scrub which smells absolutely divine!

Fragrances

One of my favourite things to gift is perfume. I wear perfume everyday, no matter where I’m going and I don’t have one signature scent. I like to switch between different perfumes depending on how I feel. If you are the same, then you need to have a look at Library of Fragrance. They have so many different, unique scents that I love. There really is something for everyone! My favourites are Paperback, Pistachio Ice Cream and Pumpkin Pie. As well as these, I would also love to try Cinnamon Bun, Lemon Meringue and Cupcake.
