Keeping my skin in good condition is even more important to me in the colder months. I naturally have quite dry skin, so I need to make sure I keep on top of my skincare routine. Skin hydration is a really important part of any skincare routine, whether it is on your face or the rest of your body.

I have recently been trying out a couple of products from Mario Badescu. Mario Badescu is a brand that I have heard a lot about, however I had never actually tried anything until this year. One of the products that I have been using regularly is the face mist. I always have a face mist as part of my skincare routine, I find that they can really help to keep your skin hydrated. This particular one is great to spray on first thing in the morning, it makes me feel more awake and I have found that using this under my morning moisturiser really helps me to stay more hydrated. They are also great during the summer when it’s getting too hot!

The second product that I have been trying out from Mario Badescu is the Seaweed Night Cream. This isn’t too heavy like a lot of night creams that I have tried. I wake up in the morning and my face feels smooth and hydrated and it doesn’t leave a trace of the cream behind. I have found that some night creams have left a film on my face in the morning. With seaweed being the main ingredient in this cream, you would expect it to have a very fresh scent which it does.

I have been using a BB cream instead of foundation recently which is another way in which I have been keeping my skin hydrated. The product that I have already repurchased is the Skin79 Dark Panda BB Cream. This gives a light, even coverage and has SPF built in. I find that my skin much prefers using a BB cream rather than a heavier foundation, it has more chance to breathe and I have had a lot less blemishes.
