As I’ve been getting older, I’ve realised how important self care is. There are so many different ways to practice self care, but the best way to start is by looking after your body. I make sure that I take time out at least once a week for a pamper. Even if that just means that I have a soak in the bath, it makes all the difference.

Bath bombs

When I do get the time to have a bath, I really like to make the most of it and I will often use a bath bomb. Obviously they can be very expensive, especially for something that just dissolves! I have been trying out a couple of new brands and have found some that I really like. Soaphoria have a great range of bath bombs and they are so affordable at less than £2 each.

Another brand that I have been trying out is Greenum. They are a Latvian company based in Riga and they only use the highest quality natural ingredients in their products. The product I’ve been loving from them is the Honey Milk bath bomb. This gives off such a lovely, relaxing scent and leaves my skin feeling really soft. Greenum have such a great range of products and I will definitely be trying out more.

Looking after your teeth

We only get one set of adult teeth, so it’s really important that we look after them. Dental care is very expensive, so I have been making sure that I have been investing in my toothpaste. This is especially important as I have started getting my wisdom teeth through.

Recently, I’ve been trying out a toothpaste from Curaprox. I don’t like the minty flavour that a lot of toothpastes have, so I was pleased to find this range. They offer many different flavours including peach and apricot which I have been trying out. I find that I am more motivated to brush my teeth when the toothpaste tastes this good.
