It’s finally autumn! My favourite time of year and that’s not just because it’s my birthday. I love being able to layer up in jumpers, scarves and coats. I love the colours of autumn and of course I also enjoy not being too hot all the time.

This year I’ve decided to experiment with more autumnal colours in my makeup routine. To me, autumn is all about burnt oranges, deep reds, golden yellows and jewel tones. So I have picked up a 3INA 24H Eye Stick in a burnt orange shade. This is a new product for me, I don’t usually use eye shadow sticks, so I’ve had some fun experimenting with it. It works great as a colour all over the lid, blended out at the crease. It also makes a fantastic eyeliner which is my favourite way to use it. I find that just creating a wing with this eye stick is enough to finish off a simple make up look and makes it look very autumnal. Especially when paired with a darker lipstick! I have been very impressed with the longevity of this product – it seems to withstand anything. I wore it to a very hot and sweaty gig and then ran for a train afterwards and it didn’t budge! This has now made me want to try more product from 3INA as this is the first I’ve used.

As it gets colder I have to make more of an effort with looking after my skin and my hair. I find that the cold weather can leave both feeling extremely dry. Luckily, I’ve found a wonder product in Goldwell shampoo. Their Dualsenses Rich Repair mask is really simple to use – you just apply it for 60 seconds after shampooing and then wash it out. It has made a real difference to the condition of my hair.

I have also been using a new body cream which is the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. This was formulated for use on the buttocks and hips but I absolutely adore the scent and the moisturising properties. I have been using this on my legs which do tend to get especially dry during the autumn and winter. Despite being used for the wrong body part, it really does a great job and I feel moisturised and smooth. If you haven’t tried any of this range, then I highly recommend that you do.
