So, make sure to take a browse through the streets of the city to sample some of the iconic Spanish flavours. From the paellas to the padrón peppers, the tasty traditional treats will provide the fuel you need for a day’s exploring around Barcelona.

You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants and cafes, so why not consider taking a food tour for a few hours? Not only is this perfect for the foodies out there, but it’s also a great way to see the best of what Barcelona has to offer.

Immerse yourself in local culture

As well as eating some delicious food, when spending 24 hours in Barcelona it is also important to take in as much culture as possible. This historic European city is rich in identity and tradition, with incredible architecture. Barcelona also has a huge selection of museums that you shouldn’t miss out on during your short visit.
