Yoshi bags
Yoshi are a family run business based in my hometown of Lichfield, Staffordshire. They produce some fantastic leather goods! From handbags, to purses, to little keyrings. They are well known for their quirky picture bags. I took one look at the website and fell head over heels in love with this Bookworm bag*. It’s not hard to see why! The detail on this Yoshi bag is spectacular; each of the books that are appliquéd onto the front of the bag are based on real classics. How many of them have you read?
The Bookworm bag
I’ve been using my Bookworm bag almost everyday since I received it. It’s the perfect size for my everyday essentials. These include my phone, kindle, diary and purse. I also often carry a bottle of water, my pouch of medical supplies and a bit of makeup. It came with me to America and I used it as hand luggage on the plane. I didn’t use it in the parks, as it’s not the best bag to be taking on rollercoasters. However, I did use it quite a bit when I just went out for some food and I had so many compliments on it.
Back in England, a lot of people have stopped me on the street and have asked where the bag is from. Especially in Lichfield and they are surprised when I tell them that it was made just down the road. The bag is such amazing quality. I can tell this is going to be something I use for years to come. I am definitely looking to get myself a few more Yoshi bags. The cat themed bags have especially caught my eye.

Yoshi sell their products online, but keep an eye out if you’re local.. you can often get your hands on a Yoshi bag at one of their sample sales.

That book bag is absolute book lovers heaven! I love it so much!
I’m from Germany and saw this bag in a shop on Victoria Street/Edinburgh.
I fell in love immediately as I am happy to own a big library at home. I spent my first pocket money as well as my first money from a job on books. Always books, the love of my life. I thought at once: “This bag was created for ME! This is MY handbag!” But at this day of my vacation I had already spent so much money for other things I was nearly broke. I had to let it go, but made a photo. Months later, at home, I researched on the Internet and found it. I ordered the one in tan, with Gulliver’s Travels, The Hobbit and The Three Musketeers. I LOVE it. And at a lower Price than the one in Edinburgh 🙂
I’m glad you managed to get one! They’re so well made and I’m going to get myself one of the purses as soon as it is back in stock!
I saw the very Bookworm on this site in the window of a bookstore in Amsterdam. The store was closed and I was off to Africa, but promised myself when I returned to Amsterdam, where I would be stopping, I would buy that bag. It was there when I returned, I bought it and now have a small collection I use daily of Yoshi Bookworm bags. They are light, beautiful leather, perfect in size and organization and affordable. And I am nearly 70.
where are your shops, please in PARIS ??
regards

I’d love the pick and mix bag but can’t find one, I’ve searched everywhere
