I’ve recently been to Riga, Latvia for a city break. As I like to do things on a budget, we only too hand luggage which fits under the seat in front. For me, this is a medium sized backpack. There are also the restrictions on liquids to contend with. With this in mind, I stocked up on a few mini products that would be ideal for travel.

Skincare

As I’m going to be travelling a few times over the coming months, I thought I would get some miniature skincare products that I can take with me. When I’m travelling I don’t tend to stick to a full skincare routine because I’d have to take too many things, however it helps having miniatures.

Although I don’t wear a lot of makeup while I’m away, it’s always good to do a proper cleanse each night. I have picked up the Bobbi Brown mini soothing cleansing oil which will breakdown any makeup that I’m wearing and will cleanse away any dirt too. Carrying this and a face cloth is much better than a packet of face wipes and will take up less space too! I loved how easy this was to use! Another product from Bobbi Brown that I packed was the Bobbi Brown Mini Vitamin Enriched Face Base Moisturizing Makeup Primer. This works great under makeup in place of a moisturiser. It’s the perfect size for my hand luggage and I’ve heard great things about it!

Makeup

When it comes to makeup, I try to keep liquids to a minimum. As I mentioned earlier, I don’t really wear much makeup when I’m away. For this trip, I took a foundation with SPF. I didn’t know how sunny it was going to be in the Baltics, but it can’t hurt to have a bit of extra SPF in your foundation, can it? I’ve picked a miniature travel sized bottle of Double Wear by Estée Lauder. This cult favourite has also been my favourite for around ten years now. Although it is quite a high coverage, I don’t feel like it’s too heavy on my skin.

I always like to have a setting spray with me, so I’ve chosen the MAC Mini Prep and Prime Fix+. I love this as a setting spray, but it’s also great as a refresher mist too. The miniature version is just the right size to take away withe me and I can leave the bigger version at home.
