May has been a great month! The weather has started to get better and I’ve had quite a lot of plans. I have also been trying a few new products over the past month and have discovered some new favourites!

Makeup favourites

One brand that I really love is Catrice. They are a really affordable makeup brand, but the price really doesn’t reflect on the quality. Everything that I have tried from them so far has been amazing and always makes me want to try new products. This month, I got a couple of bits from the Catrice Disney collection. The Catrice Disney Princess Ariel highlighter palette is a firm favourite. It has three different shade of highlighter to choose from, all three work on my pale complexion. I have been using the shade ‘Shiny Coral’ when I have been going for a minimal makeup look. I find that this shade gives a very subtle shimmer.

Another item from Catrice that I have been loving is the Disney Princess Ariel Radiance Moisturising Serum. I like to apply this in the morning and let it sink in before I apply any makeup. It’s a great moisturising base which works on its own or under makeup.

Skincare favourites

As the weather has been getting better, I have been trying to make more of an effort to wear SPF daily. I can’t say that I always remember, but I’m trying! This year I have decided that I need to wear something with a higher SPF, so I’ve gone for the Bioderma Cicabio SPF 50. It is so important that you wear sunscreen, even if you think it’s cloudy. This one isn’t too thick and sinks into my skin quite quickly. Hopefully I’ll remember it every day! Bioderma are one of my favourite skincare brands, so I’m always keen to try new products from them. I’m glad that I managed to find this sunscreen. It will be used every day during the summer!
