Everyone knows I am a big fan of candles and anything home fragrance. I make my own candles as a bit of a hobby, but I also love buying them. My favourite brands are Bath and Body Works, DW Home and Paddywax. I don’t really tend to stick to seasonal appropriate scents – you may find me burning a cinnamon and apple candle in April! There isn’t really a scent I won’t try, so as you can imagine, I have been threw a lot of different candles over the years. Here are my current favourites..

DW Home
DW Home have such a great selection of scents. Some of them sound unbelievable, just like Cereal Milk. I picked this up because of the unusual name – I didn’t even look at the fragrance notes. Luckily, I absolutely love it! To me, it doesn’t really smell like cereal milk but I’m not a cereal eater. When I first smelt this, it reminded me of iced buns – specifically the ones that are made and sold in my local bakery. It’s such a gorgeous, sweet scent and has an amazing hot throw. I’ve been rationing this one as I don’t want to burn it all straight away. Luckily, DW Home candles last a long time!

Paddywax
Last month I tried the smaller version of this scent and I was hooked. I just had to get the bigger version! I love anything to do with books – I’m a massive bookworm, so I love the Library Collection by Paddywax. The Charlotte Bronte candle has the following notes:
Top notes:
Nutmeg, Lime, Bergamot, LemonMiddle notes:
Cedar Leaf, Amber, Geranium, Peony
Base notes:
Sandalwood, Rosewood, Patchouli, Musk

Milkhouse Candle Co.
This brand is completely new to me and I must admit that the main reason why I got this candle was for the packaging. How cute is the glass bottle design? I can imagine that this would look great with some dried flowers inside once the candle has gone. Luckily, the scent is amazing as well. I went for the pumpkin scent, but Milkhouse Candle Co. have a lot of delicious sounding fragrances. Next time, I would love to try the Creamery Layer Cake and the Creamery Oatmeal, Milk and Honey. How nice do they sound? They have a few different candle designs as well, so I’d go for one of the pretty jars.

Bath and Body Works
My ultimate favourite home fragrance brand is Bath and Body Works. I finally got to visit a store for the first time in 5 years when I was in Poland a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, I’d only taken a small backpack to avoid paying for baggage, so I couldn’t stock up on candles. Fortunately, Notino have such a great range in stock so I am always able to treat myself when I feel the need. My favourite scents are the foody/bakery type.
