End of summer beauty wishlist

Summer is unfortunately coming to an end now. I have heard that we’re going to have a warm October, but the temperature has definitely dropped significantly. While this means that we are going to be mourning the sunshine, a lot of us will be happy that autumn is on its way. A change in seasons means I have an excuse to pick out some new beauty products from Notino. This is what is on my wishlist this month.

Jo Malone Mimosa and Cardamom eau de cologne – I’m a big fan of Jo Malone colognes. I own a fair few bottles and I have recently come to the end of my bottle of Mimosa and Cardamom. I tend to steer towards warmer, spicier scents and this one fits the bill nicely. I think that it is the perfect fragrance for welcoming in the autumn and one that I will be wearing daily. I love how this is also quite a unisex fragrance, I let my flatmate use some of my last bottle before he went on a date recently.

Garnier Fructis Banana Hair Mask – My hair is feeling particularly dry at the moment. I don’t know if it’s because the sun has been drying it out, but I think a decent hair mask is needed. I’ve had this one from Garnier before and it can be used as a normal conditioner or left on shampooed hair for ten minutes if you want to use it as a mask. It leaves a lovely scent of banana which isn’t too strong. I really recommend it! It also leaves my hair feeling really soft and easy to style.

L’Oréal Paris Smooth Sugars Scrub – I’ve used one of these scrubs before and really enjoyed it, so I’ve decided to try out a different one. This version has kiwi seeds in and is meant to get rid of blackheads and clear the skin. My skin has been a bit of a mess recently and I use a scrub a couple of times a week. I’m hoping that this one will be just as good as the glow scrub that I’ve tried before.

MAC Sheertone blush in Pinch Me – During the summer, I’ve not been wearing much makeup. I can’t be doing with how much it melts off my face. I’m looking forward to wearing it more during the autumn. I’ve never had a MAC blush before and I love the look of Pinch Me, it seems like it would be the perfect natural pink shade for my skin tone. I’m excited to try it out.

Makeup Revolution x Soph lipstick in Cake – I’m a big fan of Sophdoesnails on Youtube and I loved the two palettes she brought out with Makeup Revolution last year. I may have also fangirled over her when I met her at one of their events last year! She’s recently brought out another eyeshadow and three lipsticks. I absolutely love the look of these nude shades and have chosen to try out Cake which I think will really suit the autumnal eyeshadow looks that I’m planning.

I love the look of that lipstick. As we approach winter, I always tend to go for more deep red or plum lipsticks x
