Although I am loyal to my few favourite beauty products, I do love to try new ones out every now and then. Once I run out of something, I tend to switch it up and try something new. At the moment I have a few new products on the go which I am loving.

Skincare

When I remove my makeup, I always use a thick, balm cleanser and a hot flannel. This ensures that I get all of the mascara/eyeliner and anything else that’s hard to budge off my face. For a while, that was all I used but then I realised that I should be doing a double cleanse. So, I’ve now introduced a cleanser by one of my favourite brands La Roche-Posay into my routine. The La Roche-Posay Toleriane Gentle Cream Cleanser is perfect as a second cleanse. I use this after my first cleanser and it makes sure that I get rid of any lasting traces of makeup and also the first balm cleanser. It leaves my face feeling really clean however it doesn’t dry it out like a lot of other cleansers have done in the past. Since I’ve been double cleansing, I’ve found that my skin is feeling a lot softer.

As I am in my thirties, it’s important that I use an eye cream. I’ve tried a few and so far I don’t have many lines so they must be working. I recently finished up a tube of eye cream so I decided to try the Weleda Pomegranate firming eye cream. I’ve not tried many products by Weleda before, but I am really impressed with this one so I will definitely be trying more out! It has a lovely light, refreshing scent which is not too overpowering. The cream sinks into the skin quickly and a little goes a long way.

Makeup

I’ve recently found someone amazing who does my brows and lashes for me, so I’ve wanted to try some new products to make sure they stay looking their best. I get my brows tinted and waxed, so I don’t need a lot of product in them now. I’ve picked up the Essence brow pomade which comes with a brush and makes filling in my brows super simple. The brush is the perfect size for filling in my brows and the pomade is a great shade for me. It’s also a really handy products for travel.

I’ve been getting my lashes lifted which means that I don’t need to use an eyelash curler anymore. I just need to use a mascara to add volume and keep my lashes separated. This is where the Essence I love Extreme mascara comes in. It adds volume without weighing my lashes down and also keeps my lashes separated. It doesn’t transfer to my brow bone like a couple of other mascaras have and looks great all day.
