Father’s Day gifting with Moonpig

Father’s Day is next Sunday, June 21st. My dad is notoriously hard to buy for. If I ever ask him what he wants he’ll say “nothing, save your money” which is really frustrating. Since realising he doesn’t like whisky as much as I thought he did, I decided to get him something a bit different this year. Moonpig have a great selection of gifts for every occasion, including Father’s Day. This is especially great while we’re in lockdown and not everyone is lucky enough to see their dad in person.

Father’s Day gift ideas from Moonpig

When you think of Moonpig, you probably think of cards, right? I’ve been using them for years to send cards to friends and family. I didn’t realise that they did such a great range of gifts too. I have previously bought personalised cards but I found the perfect one for my dad which is toilet roll related. We’ve always had a healthy supply of toilet roll in our house, even before the pandemic so this one is so fitting. I think he’ll really find it funny too.

Continuing the toilet humour theme, I picked out this book. 52 Things To Do While You Poo because who doesn’t want to learn about your bowel when you’re doing your business? It’s the sort of gift you know will get a few laughs and I’m actually looking forward to having a read of it myself!

Food and drink gifts from Moonpig

As I mentioned earlier, my dad doesn’t like whisky as much as I thought he did. This means that he has quite a few unopened bottles in the garage, oops. So this year, I decided to stick with something I know that he loves – beer. He is quite particular about his beer, but I know that he likes a good IPA. I picked out this Vocation gift set which includes a glass chalice and two cans of beer. Hopefully he will enjoy these on Father’s Day in front of the football.

Finally, I have an 850g bar of Dairy Milk. Out of all of the gifts from Moonpig, I think this one will go down the best. My dad loves chocolate, especially Dairy Milk, so he’s going to be really pleased with this!

Items mentioned were gifted from Moonpig. All words and thoughts are my own.
