NARS is one of those brands that I really like, but never actually get around to buying anything from. The first thing that I ever bought from was the famous Orgasm blush which I posted about a few years ago but since then, I’ve only added a couple of lipsticks, eyeshadows and a highlighter to my collection. I was browsing the Notino website and I came across this beauty of a palette which features a blusher, a bronzer and four eyeshadows and I thought that it would be a great addition to my small NARS collection.

Housed in the iconic NARS black, matte packaging, the At First Sight palette* features two of their bestsellers in the Deep Throat blush and Laguna bronzer along with four eyeshadows which are (clockwise from top left): All About Eve, Noveau Monde, Bellissima and Codura. All of the colours in the palette compliment each other, meaning that you can create a look without having to reach for anything else which is perfect for taking on your travels.

As you’d expect from NARS, the palette is seriously good quality and each of the eyeshadows offer fantastic pigmentation and are really easy to blend. I’ve been using them to create a simple light blue eyeshadow look and finishing it off with a brown eyeliner and a bit of mascara which looks great with my green eyes.

Deep Throat is a gorgeous sheer peach, a lot lighter than Orgasm and also a lot less shimmery. Laguna is a cult favourite and I can see why, it’s not too warm toned for my fair skin and really helps to add a bit of colour to my face without making it look muddy. Both of these products together really compliment each other and I can see why they were chosen to go in the same palette.
