Outfit: Dark florals

Almost Famous London Leather Floral Skirt Balck Crop Top New Look Pandora Bracelet

This isn’t a very summery outfit but we haven’t really been having much of a summer, have we? I think I’ve left the house without tights on a grand total of three times this summer (in this country anyway) and have had to take a jacket out with me almost everyday. Hopefully we’ll get an Indian Summer so I can wear more of my pretty summer dresses and skirts!

I wore this outfit for my friend Lily’s hen party at the weekend. We went out in London and attended a cocktail making class which was great fun. I wanted to dress up but not step too far out of my comfort zone, so I decided to go for this leather look floral skirt from Almost Famous London. I first fell in love with this skirt at the SS15 press day and I was delighted when they sent it out to me. It’s so pretty and can work well in the summer or winter and I think the pattern is just beautiful. When I wear it I feel a million dollars, probably because it’s really expensive and is the priciest item of clothing I own (not including coats/shoes) so I just feel really swish in it! The crop top allows me to show off a little bit of flesh but not so much that I feel uncomfortable.

I also chose to wear this Ultimo The One Ana plunge bra from House of Fraser. It fits like a dream, is really comfortable and definitely gave me a confidence boost.  I find it hard to find decent bras that fit me and will last a long time which is why I think it’s important to spend a bit more on a good one instead of buying a few from Primark. Buy cheap, buy twice!
