I think we can officially say it’s summer now. We’ve had a few days of sunshine, temperatures have reached 30 degrees in most parts of the UK and we’ve all had a good moan about how hot it is. So, with that in mind here are a few of my favourite products for the summer.
Skincare
When it comes to my summer skincare routine, I don’t change a lot. My skin doesn’t get as dry as it does during the colder months, but I still like to keep it moisturised. I have recently been looking into skincare which contains Hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a great ingredient in skincare as it really helps to keep moisture locked in. It can also help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles which is something I am interested in now I am in my 30s. As you already know, I am a big fan of Revolution Skincare and I just had to try the Hyaluronic Acid Serum from their collection. I have been using this at night time along with their Vitamin C Serum and my skin has been feeling really smooth and hydrated. I don’t know why it has taken me so long to try this!
When it has been really hot and I’ve been at home, I’ve been using a water spray to cool down. I got a Saffee one from Notino free with my order and it has been a lifesaver. The gentle mist is so cooling, especially if you keep it in the fridge before you use it!

I’ve also been using this Yope hand cream as I’ve been suffering from dry hands lately. With all of the hand washing and usage of hand gel, you can imagine how dry my hands have been. I love the spicy clove scent and it moisturises my hands well whilst sinking in really quickly.

Makeup
In the summer I like to keep my makeup looking quite simple and fresh. I noticed that Physicians Formula is a new brand on the Notino website. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this brand but had never been able to get my hands on any of their products. Whilst browsing, I decided to try out the Murumuru Butter Blush and the Sexy Booster Mascara.
I absolutely love the packaging of the blusher, it’s so bright and cheerful. The product itself is great too. The blush has a subtle summery scent to it and is the perfect pink shade for the summer. It gives me a fresh glow without making me look like I’ve been in the sun for too long. As for the mascara, it does exactly what it says and gives my lashes a real boost. I’m not very lucky in the eyelashes department – mine are very short and straight, so to find a mascara that gives them a bit of lift and volume is great!

I love that Mascara!!! I can’t seem to find it anywhere though annoyingly. Dharma x
