It’s no secret that I always like to try out new products. Every month I get a package from Notino and I get to try out so many different things. Even though I have a pretty good skincare routine, I like to mix it up every now and then. I’m also keen to try out different brands that may be harder to get in the UK.

This month I have been loving a certain scent from Sol de Janeiro. A couple of months ago, I picked out one of their gift sets which contained the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa ’40 Perfumed Body and Hair Mist. I immediately fell in love with the scent and got myself the full sized bottle. Since then, I’ve also managed to get my hands on the deodorant in the matching scent. This isn’t the sort of scent that I would think to try, but because I first got it in a gift set I gave it a go. The notes it contains are as follows:

Top: Plum, Cassis
Middle: Jasmine, Orchid
Base: Vanilla, Musk

I’ve been using the deodorant every day and I absolutely love it. When I layer it with the body mist, I smell great all day. It’s definitely something that I will be repurchasing.

I’ve been on a mission to sort my skin out as I’ve been having pretty bad break outs recently. One product that I’ve started using everyday is something that I used to love years ago. I have been seeing people raving about a certain moisturiser on TikTok and it made me remember just how much I love it.

The Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentre is the perfect moisturiser to use in the morning. It’s especiialy great for using underneath makeup – it provides such a great base. People on TikTok have been saying that it’s good to use instead of a primer which I agree with. It doesn’t take too long to sink in to your skin and leaves a slightly tacky base. I’m so glad that I chose to reintroduce this into my routine, it’s been a good couple of years since I last had it! As well as being really light and moisturising, I also love the fact that it doesn’t have a strong fragrance. I have been meaning to try out more products from Embryolisse, they have a good range. It would be great to try out their BB cream and see how it compares to other brands that I currently use.
