While none of the shops are open it can be really hard to get hold of your favourite products. Luckily, plenty of online shops are still delivering and even have great offers on too. My favourite online store, Notino has most of the items that I would usually get from my local chemist’s.

Skincare

I ran out of moisturiser a couple of weeks ago and my skin was not happy about it. Usually, I’d just pop out and buy a new one but with the pandemic it wasn’t possible. I managed to get an order in on Notino and found the Vichy Normaderm moisturiser that I love. This moisturiser keeps my dry skin nourished but also helps to keep it clear. It has special ingredients in it that keep acne at bay. What more could you want from a moisturiser? I have been using this every day for over a year now, so I could really tell when I had ran out and my skin hated it!

I also picked up the Ziaja Cocoa Butter face cream. It’s a bit thicker than the Vichy one, so much better for overnight. It has a delicious chocolatey smell and is great at keeping the skin moisturised. I’ve tried a few things from this brand now and I love it.

I also ran out of my makeup removing cleanser. I usually buy a hot cloth cleanser but without being able to get to the shops, I couldn’t get it! Notino have a lot of different cleansers in stock, including this NYX one. The NYX Stripped Off Cleansing Oil makes removing makeup so easy. You simply rub it over your dry face until your makeup melts away, then remove with a wet cloth. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and it removes every trace of my makeup!

Candles

You should know by now that I am a massive candle fan. I have so many in my collection and I am always burning one in my room. My favourite candle brand is Bath and Body Works. You can’t beat their scents, they fill the room and last for ages. This month I picked up the scent Cinnamon Caramel Swirl which smells absolutely delicious. I am a big fan of foodie scents and this is perfect.

I also chose one from DW Candles. I have recently decorated my room as you can see in the photos and have a green wall, so I was looking for some matching accessories. I picked the Desert Cactus candle based on looks alone, but the scent is amazing. It’s such a fresh, green scent and perfect for the summer. I am hoping I can get the bigger version too!
