Autumn beauty wishlist

Can you believe that it is actually November? The last couple of months have just flown by so fast. Before we know it, it will be December and everyone will be thinking about Christmas. It’s getting really chilly and I’m off to the Czech Republic this month, which is also going to be pretty cold. I’ve been thinking about switching up my skincare to add a bit more moisture into my skin as this cold weather just dries it out so bad. So, here is what is on my Notino wishlist this month.

As well as getting dry skin, my hair also suffers in this cold weather. I’ve tried one of the conditioning masks from Garnier before (the banana one, I wrote about it here) and I loved it. I’m almost out of that so I am looking to get the Papaya Hair Food and see how that one compares. The banana one leaves my hair smelling amazing, so I am hoping that this would be similar.

Like I mentioned earlier, my skin gets so dry during these colder months. It’s already started and it’s only going to get worse as time goes on. I thought that it would be best to nip it in the bud as soon as possible and get a couple more products to add to my skincare routine. First of all, we have the La Roche-Posay Effaclar H. I have used a lot of products from the LRP Effaclar range in the past and I love them but I have never tried a moisturiser. This one is actually meant for oily skin, but I think that it would really help my normal/dry skin.

I’ve also been looking at the Bielenda Rose Care Light Skin Oil. I’ve used one other product from this range, the micellar water and I really like it. I think adding an oil into my skincare routine will really help and I’m excited to start using this.

Makeup wise, I’ve only got one item on my wishlist this month. I haven’t really been wearing a lot of makeup over the last few weeks unless I have an event to go to. I have just been sticking to concealer, eyeliner and mascara with a bit of lip balm or gloss. I think that the MAC Retro Matte liquid lipstick in the shade Oh Lady is perfect for the time of year. It will also look great as part of a minimal makeup look.

As I said in my post last month, I am really loving candles. On my wishlist this month are two that I have tried before and loved. The Yankee Candle Witches’ Brew scent is one of my favourites but I haven’t been able to find it in any shops this year. Luckily, Notino have it in stock so I can still get my hands on it. I am also wanting to get the Bath & Body Works Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow candle. This is one that I bought whilst I was in Florida and I saved it for ages. I’ve now burnt the whole thing, but I’m so glad that Notino have them on their website.

What are you lusting after this month?

The bath and bodyworks candle sounds so nice. My brother is going to NY later this month and I’m trying to narrow down which one to get them to bring me back x
