A couple of weeks ago, my boyfriend and I decided to do something a little bit different. He lives on the other side of Birmingham to me and I’ve never really explored the area, so we decided to go to Cannon Hill Park and visit the Nature Centre which has all sorts of monkeys and then have a walk around a couple of other parks on the way back to his.

The weather was quite good for March, it was really sunny but there was a bit of a breeze so this long sleeved striped dress from Petit Bateau was perfect. It kept me suitably warm whilst also being comfortable enough to walk around in all day. I went for an XS which is still quite big on me as an 8, so I’d recommend sizing down if you’re thinking of getting this dress. The boots were a rediscovery – I bought them a couple of years ago and hadn’t worn them for quite a while, so I got them out and wore them for about two weeks straight, Unfortunately, the sole ended up coming away on one of them so I’ve since got rid of them but I will definitely be purchasing a similar pair come the end of the year.

FInally, I can’t not mention the tote bag. I’m not usually one for tote bags, I have a leather handbag from Radley that I use religiously but I didn’t need to take a lot of stuff out with me that day and I had also rediscovered this bag from Sighh. Sighh is an online shop which is ran by 19 year old Polly, a Graphic Design student studying in Leeds. I love so many of her products and so far I own this bag and the weekly budget planner but I’m desperate to get my hands on one of the phone cases!
