With Mothers’ Day just around the corner, you might be struggling for gift ideas. There’s so many different options – you could go for wine, flowers, nice chocolates or, some nice beauty products. I always go for beauty products. If your mom can’t have a bit of a pamper on Mothers’ Day, then when can she?

Perfume

One of the best products to buy for my mom is perfume. This is something that she will rarely ever buy herself, so it’s always a nice treat. She’s well stocked up on her usual favourite (YSL Paris) at the moment, so I’ve decided to get her something new to try. Korres are a brand that are more well known for their skincare and body care, I didn’t realise they did perfume as well. I really liked the sound of the Korres Black Sugar eau de toilette.

Base notes	Tonka Beans, Amber, Vanilla

This is a very different scent for me, but it smells lovely. It’s sweet but slightly floral and a very light scent. If you’re not into overpowering scents, then this could be the one for you.

Make Up

If you’re not too keen on gifting perfume (it is personal preference after all!) then you might consider some makeup. Having someone pick out some nice, good quality products for you can be a real treat. A couple of brands I’ve chosen as examples are Bourjois and 3INA.

Bourjois disappeared from the UK market for a few years, but you’ve always been able to get their products from Notino. A personal favourite of mine is the Poudre de Riz de Java. This transluscent face powder helps to mattify and set your base makeup while leaving a lovely glow. It has quite a strong scent, but I love it. It’s such a nostalgic product for me.

3INA are quite a new brand but I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from them so far. Their eye pencils would make a great gift as they’re so versatile. The 3INA 24 Hour Eye Stick comes in so many shades, there’s one for everybody. You can use it all over the lid or you could use it as eyeliner. I have the shade Pink which is perfect for a simple, glowy look. They also have a great range of Cream Eyeshadows and Eyeliner Pens in matching shades. I definitely would recommend these products as Mothers’ Day gifts, you could make up a beauty hamper.
