Since I got my latest phone (the iPhone 7 plus) I’ve really struggled to find cases on the high street that will fit it. It seems that there’s plenty for the iPhone 6/7/8 but the plus versions aren’t really catered for. This means that I’ve had to turn to the internet when I’m looking for a new case and that can be a bit overwhelming. When CaseApp got in touch and asked if I would like to try out their custom phone cases, I was really keen to try them out.
CaseApp offer a huge selection of premade designs for many different brands of phone but they also allow you to upload your own photos and design your own case. I wanted to get one of the premade designs but I also wanted one with my cat, Bertie on it too. After spending a while scrolling through all of the different options online, I settled on this monochrome brush stroke design. There’s also the option to add text or clip art to the designs. As you can see, I left mine as it was. I love how simple but smart it is.
Designing my case
When it came to choosing the photo for my custom case, I didn’t know what to go for. There are plenty of options on the site for different layouts and I have so many photos of Bertie. In the end, I went for one of my favourite photos of him. This was actually taken with my iPhone 7 plus and I think he looks so handsome. It almost looks like it’s been shot on a DSLR. I was worried about how it was going to turn out on a phone case as it’s obviously not the best quality. I needn’t have worried though, when it arrived I noticed that the photo is perfect.
For this case, I opted for the iPhone 7 plus tough case. This means that it comes with an extra layer of protection. This case is a bit bulkier, however the extra rubber casing means that your phone is better protected. I also picked up one of the tough cases for a friend who has an iPhone X.
