Since I started blogging full time, I’ve been making more of an effort with my photography. Now that I have time during the day when I can use natural light, it’s been a lot easier for me to get the shots that I want and hopefully if you’ve looked back on some of my past posts such as my Makeup Revolution Bronze and Glow review or my MUA Undress Your Skin highlighters review you will have seen that my product photos have improved a lot since earlier posts such as my Urban Decay Naked palette review from 2015.
I have spent quite a bit of time reading guides to blog photography and have been taking a bit more time getting to know the settings on my camera. Here are some tips that I’ve used myself and I think can really help to improve your blog photography. View Post
I love a good highlighter and when I was in Florida I bought the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Moonchild which has six shades including a couple of blues and a pink. I absolutely love using that palette but at £40, it’s a bit pricey so I don’t want to be using it everyday. When I heard through Soph that MUA had bought out three more of their Undress Your Skin highlighters, one in a peachy pink shade and two blue shades, I just had to get them. They’re an absolute bargain at just £3 each, so I ordered them online from Superdrug and had them delivered to my local store the next day, I was so excited to pick them up as I hoped that they would be a good alternative to the ABH palette. Last week I was invited by the Chamäleon Theatre on a press trip to the German capital of Berlin. As you can imagine, when I received the email I was very excited! I’d been to Germany twice before in 2016 and I had visited Dusseldorf and Cologne both times, so I was keen to explore a different German city. The purpose of the visit was to see the new show, Scotch & Soda which had just opened at the Chamäleon the week before we went over. Described as “a whisky-soaked evening of raucous circus, dance and music”, Scotch & Soda is like nothing else I have ever seen at the theatre before.
