This is what I wore today when I didn’t check what the weather was like before I left the house. I was a bit hot in the tights! I got the bus into town and met up with a friend, we went to Starbucks and then I plucked up the courage to go to the police station to speak to someone about the things that are going missing from my house. They actually took me seriously (I didn’t think they would as it’s all little things that are going missing but it’s all starting to add up now..) and they are going to see if they can investigate and might send someone round to the house. I’m glad I finally went. It’s getting ridiculous now the amount of stuff that’s disappearing. It’s only my stuff as well! After the police station we went to Pets at Home where I got to hold a gorgeous rabbit and guinea pig. I can’t wait until I can get my own guinea pig. I have to wait until I’ve moved into my new house because I can’t trust anything in this house now.

At the moment, I can’t stop listening to Dan Shears & The Velveteen Orkestra which is where the title for this post came from, go and check them out!

I haven’t done any washing for two weeks so out come the Muse tshirts!

– I’m so tired today! I got back to my house at around 1:30am this morning after leaving my other house at 7:30pm last night. I couldn’t sleep until around 4:30am because I’d had too much coffee on the journey!

– I’m having a very boring Saturday night. I’m the only one in my house so I’m pretty lonely. I’m planning on having a nice bath and washing my hair ready for my first day at Millets tomorrow. After work, I’m going back to a friend’s flat with some Primark girls to watch Titanic which will be good. Can you believe that one of them has never seen it?!

– Thursday is pay day AND loan day. I can’t wait! I currently have 8p left of my overdraft, oops. I’m thinking of popping to Southampton for the day. I can’t spend too much money though, my loan has to pay for my rent over the summer too. I already owe my brother £100 – he lent me £60 to pay my rent this month and I’m buying a Michael Mcintyre ticket off him too.

– I bought my first Models Own nail polishes on Thursday so I’ll probably do a post about them soon. The Boots in Winchester doesn’t stock them so I haven’t been able to get any. I bought Fuzzy Peach and Juicy Jules. I’ll probably paint my nails tonight actually.

How’s your weekend going? I hope everyone’s enjoying the nice weather that seems to be everywhere but the South!!

1 – I know this dress is old news but I have already bought it, I just left it drying on the radiator in my student house in Winchester and it mysteriously disappeared! I love it though so I’m hoping to buy it again.
2 – I love these mocassins! A lot of people don’t like them and think they look like slippers but I had a black pair and wore them to death so I know I’d wear these all the time.
3 – I always wear my denim high waisted shorts and these would be a refreshing change for the summer.
4 – I love all this turquoise jewellery that’s out at the moment. I have bought a few turquoise pendants that I’m going to make into necklaces for myself once I’ve bought some chains.
5 – I’ve been wanting some white converse for a while and the lovely Michelle did a Ways To Wear White Converse after I requested it.. now I want some even more!
6 – I love this ring and Miss Selfridge seems to be the only shop that does XS rings which fit my baby hands!
7 – Of course I like this tshirt, it has an owl on it! I already have a similar on that says ‘Owl be there for you’ but I can’t resist this one.
8 – I’m so behind the times, I still haven’t tried any of the Topshop make up range. This lipstick is the first thing I want to try!
I’m hoping that once I’ve sold things on eBay, I’ll have a few quid to treat myself. What are you lusting after at the moment?
Hello to all my new followers! I’ve noticed that I’ve acquired about 15 since yesterday which is a lot for me. Thanks for following and commenting, it means a lot.
