It’s something most of us aspire to – the dream of waking up each day and indulging in a hobby that doubles as a profitable business.
For some, the sudden, unexpected loss of a job can force them to look at the money-making opportunities under their nose, while others will plan the launch of their hobby-based business for many years.
Whichever camp you sit in, turning a hobby into an enterprise is no mean feat. There are, however, five things every entrepreneur can do to give their personal business the greatest chance of success. View Post
Brightly coloured hair is a big trend in the UK at the moment, everywhere you go you see someone with an unnatural hair colour and I personally love it. I had bright red hair from when I was 16 until I was around 24 and I always loved it. I dyed it darker a couple of times but never felt like myself, so I soon went back to red. I’ve had my hair a bright ginger/orange colour for a couple of years now. I have had a few weeks where I’ve been darker due to a hairdresser dying my hair the wrong colour (and it was for a review, so I didn’t feel like I could complain as I hadn’t paid for it!) and I had to correct it myself by doing a bleach bath and then dying over it which is really not ideal. Now that I have time during the day when I can use natural light, it’s been a lot easier for me to get the shots that I want and hopefully if you’ve looked back on some of my past posts such as my Makeup Revolution Bronze and Glow review or my MUA Undress Your Skin highlighters review you will have seen that my product photos have improved a lot since earlier posts such as my Urban Decay Naked palette review from 2015.
I have spent quite a bit of time reading guides to blog photography and have been taking a bit more time getting to know the settings on my camera. Here are some tips that I’ve used myself and I think can really help to improve your blog photography. View Post
