If you’ve got your first music festival coming up, you’re going to have so much fun. The first music festival is usually always the most magical. You don’t quite know what to expect, so you’re a mixture of nerves and excitement. However, once you realise how electric the atmosphere is, you live in the moment and have the time of your life! If you’re still a little worried, here’s what to expect at your first music festival:
Meeting New People
You’re going to meet a load of new people. You usually meet this people when you camp next to them. Everyone is in a good mood, and this means that everyone automatically becomes friends! Obviously you shouldn’t just trust everybody you meet at a festival – keep your wits about you.
Finding New Bands You Didn’t Know You Liked
You’re not going to know every band or artist on the line up, but that’s actually a plus. You can go and see somebody you’ve never even heard of, and you might find a new music obsession. Chances are, if you end up going to see somebody you have heard of but have never been massive on, you’ll like them once you’ve seen them live. You just can’t beat the atmosphere!
We’re in the UK, so pretty much every festival experiences rain at some point. Don’t let this put you off and ruin your time. Just make sure you take a light rain jacket!
Sorry to tell you this, but many of the toilets will be questionable. This isn’t something you can avoid either, so take hand sanitiser and your own toilet roll to be safe.
