Like I’ve mentioned before, my cat would probably have better luck on Tinder than I do and I’m currently not dating anyone but I would like to get back onto the dating scene and perhaps go for a few coffee dates. I always think that going for a coffee is a lot more relaxed than any other type of date – my last ‘first date’ was in a bar and it can get a bit awkward having to shout over the loud music and the noise of other people, plus I feel much better meeting someone during the day rather than at night.
Getting ready for a date is always nerve wracking. I remember last time I was dating someone, I always worried about what I was going to wear and I was going straight from work each time so I had to make sure I didn’t mess up my outfit during the day and I had to top up my makeup in the office just before I left. Going to a coffee shop means you don’t feel like you have to dress up and you can get away with being a bit more casual.
I love the look of ripped jeans and I think that this checked blazer (which is very popular with bloggers at the moment!) really smartens the look up without making it look too smart. The simple white tshirt from Ralph Lauren also adds to the casual look but you can tell that’s it’s great quality and not just a cheap piece. I’d finish the look off with a comfy pair of black ankle boots – I’m currently lusting after these Dr Marten ones and a black leather backpack.
One website that is worth a visit when you’re planning an outfit is Lyst; you can browse items from hundreds of different retailers all in one place and it makes putting together an outfit so much easier.
