It’s been well over a month since I last posted a fashion wishlist and that’s partly because I’m trying to be good and not buy too many clothes as my wardrobe is already overflowing and it’s also because I’ve been spending my money on train tickets – I have so many good events coming up over the next couple of months! As I have so many plans, it kind of makes sense to get some new outfits, doesn’t it? I’m really trying to justify a shopping spree here!
All of these items are actually from two shops, New Look which is my absolute favourite shop and the first place I look when I’m after something and River Island which surprisingly is somewhere I never ever shop. I don’t know why I decided to have a look at the River Island website but I fell in love with the grey suede jacket – I have a problem with coats and jackets and have way too many but I don’t have a grey one (again, trying to justify it!) so now I’m lusting after this one. I’ve seen some similar ones in Primark for just £23, so if I manage to spot a grey one in there, I might just get it.
Another thing I have a problem with is underwear, specifically bras. I seem to buy so many bras and this is because I’ve had a bit of a ‘growth spurt’ in the boob area recently and have had to go up a couple of sizes but it is partly because there’s so many pretty bras around. Bralets are my new favourite thing and I’ve bought a couple from Primark recently, they’re just so pretty and comfortable. It doesn’t matter that nobody is seeing them but myself, just knowing that I have a pretty bra on under my clothes makes me feel good about myself. I’ve never actually looked at River Island’s underwear before but they have so many pretty bralets and I’m definitely going to have to have a look in the Birmingham store next time I’m in town.
I’m really into the embroidery trend that’s big at the moment and New Look have brought out some amazing pieces, some of which I’ve already bought. I love the gingham top as it’s incorporating two trends in one and is the perfect spring piece. The embroidered shirt is also a favourite as I find that shirts are so easy to wear either with jeans or tucked into a high waisted skirt. Finally, how nice is the yellow lace top? Yellow is my favourite colour and I absolutely adore this, I will definitely be adding it to my wardrobe!
