As autumn is fast approaching, I’ve found myself getting more and more excited about the clothing. I love layering up, wearing scarves and wearing earthy tones. My favourite colours to wear during the autumn are mustard, burgundy and rusty orange. I’ve already got quite a collection of mustard clothes, but I’ve managed to find so many more to add to my wishlist.
My go-to shops for clothes is always New Look, Primark and Boohoo. This season they definitely have not disappointed me, there are so many things that I want and I’ve already bought myself a few items. Yesterday, I got myself a new pair of grey ripped jeans as I thought that they would make a nice change from my usual black.
Jumpsuits are not just for the summer. I love this rust stripe jumpsuit from New Look. I would pair it with a pair of ankle boots, a chunky cardigan and a beret. The good thing about this piece is you can dress it up or down. It would also pair well with a pair of trainers or some heels.
Pinafore dresses are a must have for the autumn. They’re so easy to layer up as you can wear a long sleeved tshirt underneath or even a jumper. You can also layer on top of them with cardigans or a nice coat. I have a couple of denim ones already but I love the look of this mustard corduroy one and the dark green one. I think that they would both look great with a blouse/shirt underneath too, so can be worn int he office.
Who doesn’t love a good chunky knit? I’ve been looking at brown and rust colour jumpers and cardigans for this season. I’ve found this really nice rib crop cardigan from Boohoo which would be great to throw over almost any outfit. The wide sleeve jumper would be great with jeans and ankle boots for a simple outfit.
I’m also really looking forward to being able to wear boots all day every day. I have my favourite pair of Dr Marten chelsea boots which I wear all the time in the colder months, but if you’re looking for some nice boots then Lotus Shoes is a great website.
