Although my inner goth does love autumn/winter and the dark colour palette, I am always pleased when spring rolls around and the shops are full of brightly coloured and pastel clothing and accessories. I’m constantly checking out the ‘New In’ sections on websites to see what I can add to my ever-growing wishlist.

This year, I’m trying to get away from wearing just black jeans and a black jacket so I’ve already purchased the pale blue cardigan to add a pop of colour to my outfits and I managed to find a similar pair of socks from Primark for just £1.50. The blush pink loafers would make a great alternative to the black pair I have from Next that I usually wear with pretty tea dresses and jeans during the spring and the yellow tote bag and Skinnydip iPhone case are great accessories to add a pop of colour to an otherwise boring outfit. I have also been having a look at some great 1940s style dresses over at Rokit as well.

On the makeup side of things, I’ve been eyeing up a new lipgloss; I am a massive fan of matte lipsticks but during the spring I think it’s time to get the glosses out. I currently only own one lipgloss and that’s from Chanel but I’ve recently discovered Charlotte Tilbury and would like to add more of her items to my extensive makeup collection.

When I got the press release through from Urban Decay for the new Alice Through The Looking Glass palette, I just knew I would love it. They’re releasing it on May 5th in time for the new film which is out on May 27th. They’re also releasing a couple of lipstick shades which I just love the look of, especially Mad Hatter and Time!
