In just a week I’ll be turning 28 (on October 5th – mark your calendars!) and people have started asking me what I want for my birthday. I always find it really difficult to decide what I want unless there’s something like gig tickets being released close to the time and then I’ll ask for them. This year, there’s no tickets that I want, but there are a few things that I’ve had my eye on for a while so I think I’m going to ask for money or vouchers to put towards them.
By now, everyone knows about my obsession with anything yellow. I do already have quite a few yellow bags (four to be exact) and I don’t really need another one but as soon as I saw this Cath Kidston one from the new colour collection, I fell in love. I adore the contrast of the blue flowers on the yellow background and I know it will be amazing quality as all of the Cath Kidston bags that I already have are fantastic.
Sticking with the yellow theme, I’ve been eyeing up these yellow Adidas Campus trainers. I’ve been wearing trainers a lot more recently (mostly my Vans) and I’m going to be doing a lot of walking to and from uni over the next year, so I’ll be needing comfortable footwear. I just love the colour of these and they’re perfect for autumn, I would wear them with everything.
My Fossil watch broke last year and it’s going to cost almost as much as the watch itself just to send it off to get looked at, so I really don’t think it’s worth it. I’ve been missing wearing a watch everyday and often find myself checking my wrist for the time before realising that I’m not wearing one, so I’ve been on the look out for a new one. When it comes to watches, I like simple and classic styles that will go with any outfit and are good for any occasion, I think that this Olivia Burton one would be perfect and it would hopefully last a long time as well.
Of course, I’ve got to have a couple of beauty items on my wishlist. I’ve been lusting after the Kat Von D Alchemist palette since I swatched it in Sephora in Barcelona. I really don’t need it as I have the ABH Moonchild glow kit but I definitely want it and I do have some Debenhams vouchers to use up, so perhaps I could justify buying it with some birthday money. I’ve recently tried Marc Jacobs beauty range which is stocked in John Lewis and I love the bits I’ve tried so far, so I’d like to add to my collection with one of the eyeshadow sticks as they’re so easy to use to create a stunning eye look.
What do you think of my birthday wishlist?
