Last week I was asked if I wanted to take part in a coffee taste test with Greggs as part of Fairtrade Fortnight. I was sent a number of gift cards for different food/coffee outlets including Greggs so that I could try a coffee (and a snack if I fancied it) from each one and see what I thought about them. Due to work and the time constraints, I wasn’t able to get to all of outlets but I did visit Greggs, Starbucks and Costa and sampled a coffee from each one. View Post

Last week I was invited along to Chung Ying Central on Colmore Row in Birmingham. This is one of three restaurants in the Chung Ying group and I had never visited any of them, so I was excited to see what they had to offer. As soon as I arrived I was handed a Shanghai Rose cocktail which was absolutely delicious and contained vodka, lychee liqueur, lychee juice and rose syrup. I could have drank these all night, definitely a new favourite drink! View Post

Breakfast is meant to be the most important meal of the day, but how many people can honestly say that they make time to eat it every day? I rarely ever eat breakfast, I either get up too late and don’t have time or I simply can’t stomach food at that time in the morning. It’s a terrible habit that I really need to get out of, but I will usually just have a coffee and that’s it until lunchtime.
