I just thought I’d let you guys know about The Beauty Power List Live events which are in association with Glamour magazine and are happening at Selfridges.

The Beauty Power List is a list of the 100 most desired beauty products for the season including the new YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation, Illamasqua’s Skin Base and the Tom Ford eye colour quad. On the night, the Glamour beauty team including Jo Elvin, the editor of the magazine will be available to answer questions. There’s also entertainment, complimentary drinks and pampering makeovers. There’s also an arcade style grabber machine for you to have a go on and you’re guaranteed to win one of the products from the Beauty Power List!

These events are taking place at all of the Selfridges stores and it costs £10 a ticket which is redeemable against any beauty purchase on the night. Tickets are available to buy either over the phone or from the Fragrance department of your local Selfridges store.

I’ve already bought two tickets for me and my friend Hannah for the Birmingham event. Will I be seeing any of you there?

Tunic & Headband c/o: BMAG
This is what I wore on Tuesday to do some shopping in Birmingham. I think the headband looks amazing with my hair and the stunning tunic really shows off my figure. ONLY JOKING! I took my pal Hannah to the BMAG to the Pharaoh Exhibition which was good, however all of the items are from the British Museum and as a massive Ancient Egypt geek, I’ve seen them millions of times before. If I’d known this before, I wouldn’t have paid £8 for our tickets! We had a great time though and spent the rest of the day in Nandos/Starbucks/The Bullring.

On Saturday I went into Birmingham for the Brum Blogger Meet Part 2. This time, there was only 8 of us which was a lot better in terms of actually managing to talk to each other, but we did miss the others that couldn’t make it. We all met up in Starbucks again and had a chat before making our way to the German Market.. it was probably a bad idea to go there the second Saturday of it being open because it was RAMMED. We managed to make our way up New Street, stopping at the pop up vintage shop on the way and then we found ourselves in the food and alcohol bit. A few of the girls had German sausages which looked really good and then we tried to maneuver our way around the rest of the market which was a bit of a struggle! We then made our way to the Mailbox and we had a meal at Bar Room Bar. The food was nice and very reasonably priced too.
If you don’t already follow the blogs of the girls who went, you definitely should. They’re some of the nicest people I’ve ever met:
Annabel, Char, Eloise, Emma, Gem, Michelle, Rebecca, Sian
I had such a good day, it felt like I’d known these girls forever and we all got on really well. We will definitely be having more meet ups in the future!

This Saturday I’m off to the Southampton meet but I don’t know anyone who’s going apart from Michelle. If you’re going too, let me know!
