When I first started this blog six years ago, I didn’t own any high end makeup. I was in my second year at university and I relied on Natural Collection from Boots and the bargains that I could get from Avon. After seeing so many other bloggers talking about them, my dream was to one day own my own MAC lipstick – they looked amazing! One day in 2012 I decided to take the plunge and spend £13.50 (yes, they were cheaper then!) on MAC’s Chatterbox and since then I’ve amassed quite a large collection of MAC lipsticks. I was going to just do a top five, but I found it really hard to narrow it down so I’ve ended up with seven favourites. View Post
As you are probably aware, Kat Von D cosmetics launched in the UK last September and I’ve slowly been building up a collection since then. At the moment, the only place that you can pick up any Kat Von D products in store is Debenhams on Oxford Street who have a dedicated stand and the couple of times I’ve been in to see it, it has always been really busy, so hopefully they will start to bring it to other major cities too. You can shop the whole collection online of course and there are usually a few Debenhams discount codes floating around, for example you can get free standard delivery with any beauty purchase – enter SHA5 at checkout. It’s been a long time since I did a ‘Face Of The Day’ post (we’re talking years) but I picked up a new MUA palette over the weekend and thought that the colours were perfect for a Galentine’s Day makeup look, so I had a play around with it today. I adore the warm toned colours in the MUA Burning Embers palette and knew I had to get hold of it after I saw it in one of Emma‘s videos when she used it as a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette which is something that I really want but can’t justify buying right now.
