We all know how important eyebrows are and how they frame the face. You can have a full face of makeup but if you haven’t done your brows, it just won’t look finished. I don’t have the best eyebrows, so I rely on makeup to fill them in and make them look a bit bolder. All of the products that I use are available at Notino which makes it really easy for me to stock up.
Once a month, I’ll get my eyebrows threaded, just to tidy them up. They’re not very thick so I don’t need much in the way of shaping, I just get the stray hairs underneath removed. As I’m very fair, I tend to dye my eyebrows too, usually around the same time as threading. I won’t pay to get them done as it’s so easy to do at home with a proper kit.
I only use two products to fill in my brows and one brush. Each of these are really affordable and just show that you don’t need to spend £20+ on a high end eyebrow kit. First of all, I use the Freedom Eyebrow Pomade – I have the shade Medium Brown. I apply this with the Freedom Eyebrow brush. I tend to draw on a bit of an arch as my eyebrows naturally lack one and then fill in the front. I’ve tried many eyebrow pomades (including the expensive ones!) and this one from Freedom has really impressed me. It’s so easy to apply and it makes my eyebrows look really natural.
To finish off the look, I like to apply an eyebrow gel, just to keep all of the hairs in place and to add a little bit more colour. My current favourite one is from NYC and is the Showtime Eyebrow Gel. This was such a bargain at only £2.19 but is one of the best eyebrow gels I have ever used. The applicator isn’t too big, so it’s really easy to apply precisely and the colour is perfect for my brows. You don’t need to apply much and it keeps the hairs in place all day, I really recommend trying this out.
