I don’t really do anything special with my hair, but every now and then I find that it starts to ‘get used’ to whatever products I’m using and then it is time to switch it up a bit. I’ve recently found that I’ve had this problem, so I have had to choose a new shampoo and conditioner and I also ran out of my dry shampoo at the same time. With these new products, hopefully my hair will get back to normal.
Aussie Colour Mate shampoo, available here
I absolutely love the scent of Aussie products, so when I saw that they were on a two for £7 offer in Superdrug and came with a free mini hot water bottle, I had to buy them. I’ve never used the Colour Mate range before, so I’m excited to see how well this works on my coloured hair.
Aussie Three Minute Miracle Colour treatment, available here
Again, I’ve used the Three Minute Miracle treatment before but I’ve never used the colour version. I find that this makes my hair feel silky smooth and helps to keep any frizz away and it also smells great. As I only wash my hair a couple of times a week, I tend to use this treatment as a normal conditioner.
Batiste 2 In 1 Invisible Dry Shampoo and Conditioner, available here
As I’d ran out of my usual Batiste dry shampoo, I was browsing their range online and saw that they have a load of new products out including this 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. I wasn’t sure about it, but it’s currently half price and the vanilla and passionflower scent just drew me in. I’ve tried this once so far when my fringe was looking particulary greasy and I was so impressed. It makes my hair look fresh, yet doesn’t weight it down like other dry shampoos have done in the past. I now want to try the other scents in the range.
Now I have some new hair products, I really want to get myself booked in for a trim and get rid of all of my split ends. I might also treat myself to a new Tangle Teezer as it’s been a while since I owned one and they’re great for brushing your hair when it’s wet and helps to prevent any more split ends.
