I’ve had a number of different beauty box subscriptions over the past few years, at first I loved them and I discovered some of my favourite products from them, but I soon grew tired of receiving the same samples over and over again. First it was Glossybox, which I cancelled in 2011, then it was Birchbox which I stopped getting in 2016. I loved the Carmine box but unfortunately that didn’t last very long and after my second box, they stopped making them. I also loved My Little Box but I chose to give that up when I started saving for all of the holidays I went on last year.
At the end of 2016, I decided that I missed getting a monthly beauty treat through the post and started to have a look at the different options that were available. I’d heard a lot of talk about LOVE ME BEAUTY which is a monthly subscription with a difference – you’re able to pick your own products! Each month you are issued with 60 credits for a cost of £10 (plus £3.95 p&p) and you can spend them however you like on the items that are available for that month. You can also opt to add on more credits for a small cost or you can gain £21 worth of credits by using my referral code HAYLE7017685.
When I first signed up, I made sure I used someone’s referral code so I got an extra 45 points and I managed to get myself some brilliant Kat Von D, Eco Tools and Caudalie goodies. This month’s selection was brilliant and I used up nearly all of my extra credits on the above items. I got:
- Make Up Forever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer
- Make Up Forever Ultra HD Deluxe Compact Powder (not pictured)
- Nails Inc polish in Belsize Park
- Omorovicza Deep Cleaning Mask
- Laura Mercier Pink Pop Lip Glace
- Make Up Forever Artist Rouge Mat lipstick
- Benefit Roller Lash
I love how each month you get a different pouch which contains all of the products. I’ve found that they can be really useful and I keep one in the bottom of my backpack with all of my random bits and pieces in so that they’re not rattling around and are easily found.
I always make sure I go for the Benefit Roller Lash whenever it’s available as it’s my favourite mascara, so it’s always handy to have a couple of smaller sizes lying around. I also love having smaller sizes of products that I wouldn’t usually buy, such as the Nails Inc polish and the Make Up Forever primer, as I get to try them out before I spend the money on a full sized version.
If you want to sign up for this month’s edit, there’s plenty of brands to choose from including Kat Von D, Laura Mercier, Nuxe and Eco Tools. I’ve just ordered two sets of Eco Tools brushes which retail at around £16 each and it’s cost me less than half of that! If you sign up using my referral code HAYLE7017685 you will get £21 worth of credits to spend.
