Beauty: LOVE ME BEAUTY March’s picks

If I’m honest, I wasn’t blown away by the options for the LOVE ME BEAUTY subscription this month, there was no makeup that I really wanted to try and I wasn’t at all bothered by all of the Caudalie products which I seem to have already tried from different beauty boxes over the years. However, there were a couple of things that really stood out to me and I’m glad I chose them as I definitely got my money’s worth this month and will use all of the products I chose. If you would like to get an extra £21 worth of credits, you can use my code HAYLE7017685

  • Laura Mercier caviar stick in Tuxedo – Honestly, I only picked this as I had points to use up and didn’t know what else to choose. I don’t really use dark cream eyeshadows but I thought that I could try to do a smokey eye with this one, or I could use it under darker powder eyeshadows as a base.
  • EcoTools Five Piece Travel Set – I’ve recently acquired a lot of EcoTools brushes and it’s all thanks to LOVE ME BEAUTY. I really like all of the ones that I have tried so far, so I couldn’t pass up the chance to try a new set. I love how they come in a little pouch which will be great for when I go away this week.
  • Perricone MD Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment – I chose this as I’d recently ran out of my Pixi Glow Tonic and was looking for a replacement. This offering from Perricone MD claims to “deeply cleanse makeup and skin-aging debris as it gently exfoliates and conditions, leaving an instantly smooth and radiant appearance” which sounded great to me. So far, I think it’s been working well – my skin has definitely felt a lot smoother since I started using it and I’ve had less blemishes.

I also really liked the little bag that the products came in this month, but as I was writing this post and looking at the photo, I’ve noticed that there’s a lack of punctuation and that’s really bothering me. Maybe I’m just too picky?
