Last week I invited a couple of friends over for a bit of a random James Bond themed party. Well, I say party but you can’t really call it that when there’s just three of you! I set my living room up using some decorations I got in a box of goodies to promote the new 007 For Women fragrance which included some James Bond balloons, some fancy sequin confetti and some snazzy 007 cake toppers.

I made some vanilla and chocolate marbled sponge cakes using some baking accessories I got from CakeMart and then iced them with a simple buttercream before putting the rice paper cake toppers on top and sprinkling a few pretty stars on. We chowed down on the cakes whilst watching Casino Royale and sipping on a bottle of Bollinger, one of Mr. Bond’s favourite champagnes.

“The all new 007 for Women fragrance embodies the dangerously seductive nature of the Bond Woman. Conveying the mysterious allure of these enigmatic women, the scent is a modern interpretation of the mysterious oriental fragrances worn by women throughout the last century.”

Top: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Rose Milk

Heart: Blackberry, Gardenia, Jasmine

Base: Black Vanilla, Cedarwood, White Musk

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the fragrance, I’m quite fussy with my perfumes and┬áhave quite an expensive taste (Jo Malone being one of my favourite brands!) so I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this. However with base notes of black vanilla and musk which are two of my favourite scents, I was bound to like it! I’ve found that it’s very spicy when first applied but fades to a sweeter scent which is great for the summer. I also really love the bottle which looks great on my shelf.

#007ForWomen is available in stores now.

Sounds like a fun night! Will have to test the perfume in store to see what it’s like. I’ve bought alex the male one a couple of times and that smells good! xo

I have this perfume too lovely. I initially thought it would smell like every other branded perfume but was pleasantly surprised – it’s so womanly on me.

Ah! I love this idea of a themed party! Kind of reminds me of being young and having themed birthday parties! (I had a fear factor party once, and my mum went all out buying cow eyeballs and whatnot… Maybe wouldn’t redo that, but this looks fun!)
I love the lolita lempicka perfume and they’ve discontinued it, so maybe I’ll check this out, it sounds similar.
