Happy St Patrick;s Day everyone! How are you all celebrating it? I won’t be doing anything this year as I’m saving my money for a friend’s birthday tomorrow. I will however, be wearing my green Topman hoody to my lecture.
Here’s a small wishlist that I’ve compiled and to keep with the theme of St Patrick’s Day, everything is GREEN!
Also, if anyone’s going to be near a Starbucks today, you can print off this voucher
or download it to your phone for a free Cocoa Cappuccino. Enjoy and have a good St Patrick’s Day!
I’m a sucker for a new nail polish so when I was flicking through my Avon representatives magazine and saw two new shades that I could buy as demos for 95p, I couldn’t resist! I decided to pick one, called Surf. In the picture it looked like a light turquoisey colour which would be great for spring. My box of Avon goodies were delivered at 7:30am this morning and I couldn’t wait to try it out.

This is what my nails looked like after 4 (YES! FOUR!) coats. As you can see, the whites of my nails are still very visible and I feel like I’ve already used half of the bottle. It is a lovely colour though, a nice pearly blue which looks green in some lights. It almost reminds me of a mermaid’s tail. I’ve just had a bath and it’s already chipped, this is without a topcoat though. I’m going to keep it on as I have a job interview tomorrow and it’s the most subtle nail polish I have and my natural nails are a complete mess! I probably won’t be using it again though, unless I have a few hours spare to do a lot of coats!
On a more positive note, my feather hair extensions are holding up well! I’ve washed and blow dried/straightened my hair quite a few times since I put them in and they’re still looking good. I’ve had loads of compliments on them too. I’m definitely going to get some more when they’re back in stock.

This is the first outfit post I’ve done in a while! I really like this dress, I got it for Christmas in 2009 but have hardly worn it. It’s a bit shapeless so needs a waist belt but I’m not sure if this belt is the right one. Perhaps a thinner tan one would be better. I’ll have to have a look in Primark once payday has arrived! I don’t know if you can see the plaster/bruise on my left arm but I had the implant put in last Tuesday. I took the steri strips off last night in the bath but I’m so paranoid that it’s going to fall out or something so I had to put a plaster over it! Wimp.
The weather’s been so lovely today! I hope it stays like this/gets warmer because I’m going to the Isle of Wight in 3 weeks and I want to be able to go on the beach! I’m so excited about our little holiday, we’re going to go to the zoo
and go to the Garlic Farm
and spend our evenings in the arcades by the beach. I haven’t been to the Isle of Wight since 2006!
Today I went down to uni for a lecture, sent a letter to the council, took the bins out and tidied my room a bit. My boyfriend cooked me scrambled egg on toast for lunch, I’m addicted at the moment! I have some friends coming round a bit later on. I think they’re going to play Championship Manager on my desktop pc with my boyfriend. I hate football so I’ll just sit in bed on twitter or something. I don’t have to get up for anything tomorrow as Tuesday and Wednesday are my equivalent to Saturday and Sunday!
You might have noticed that I changed my layout slightly! It’s a lot less busy now and I have a new header. I’m a bit obsessed with owls as you’ve probably already noticed. My giveaway
ends Friday, so get entering! CourtzMelv
is also hosting a brilliant giveaway
on her blog.
