Exploring India

One thing I want to do when I finish my masters degree and have secured myself a decent job, is do a bit of travelling. I feel like I’ve been to some great places so far but I’ve only actually been to Europe and Florida. I would like to explore the other continents.

I would love to visit Africa – Egypt has always been on my travel bucket list, ever since I was 7 years old. All I want to do is visit the Pyramids of Giza, the Valley of The Kings and the Cairo museum. I’d also like to go to Morocco as I’ve got friends who have been and their photos looked amazing. These two places are definitely top of my list but I would also love to go to South Africa. My mom’s best friend lives there and she’s visited her a couple of times. Next time she goes, I’d love to join her and explore Cape Town and perhaps go on a safari.

I’ve never really considered Asia. When all of my friends have had gap years and travelled around South East Asia, it just never really appealed to me. However I’ve recently been looking at taking a trip to India. One of my friends at uni went and he said it was life changing, so I have been considering it. If I was to go on an India tour, I would definitely have to visit the Taj Mahal. I’d also want to visit the Indian capital of Delhi and experience the vibrant culture. Another city that would be on my list is Jaipur, or ‘the Pink City’ – I would love to take photos of the pink buildings. I don’t know much about India, but by doing a tour you can ensure that you won’t miss out on the best places to visit. I definitely wouldn’t know what to book by myself.
