Now it’s officially winter and absolutely freezing, my beauty routine has changed slightly. With my skin being affected by the cold weather, I’ve had to switch up my skincare to make sure I keep it at it’s best and I’ve also switched up my makeup too. Luckily, Notino has a great range of products to choose from and I’ve managed to get some new bits from just one website.

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation – This is an old favourite but since I bought the wrong shade a couple of years ago, I haven’t really been wearing it. I found the perfect shade, ‘Ecru’ on Notino and I was able to get it a bit cheaper than the normal retail price, so I decided I definitely had to pick it up. When the weather is cold, I like to opt for a higher coverage foundation as it’s not likely to melt off my face like it would in the summer and it also covers a multitude of sins like red cheeks (from the bitter wind) and any spots that I get. Double Wear gives the best coverage and I find that it can look really natural as long as you apply it with a decent sponge which brings me on to the next item..

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponges – These are another old favourite but I’d recently been using cheaper versions which just weren’t as good. I picked up a set of two from Notino and have been using them everyday to apply my foundation and concealer which has made a huge difference to the way my base looks. My foundation blends really easily and sits nicer on my face than it does when I use a cheaper alternative or a brush, there’s no streaks and it just looks a lot more natural.

Embryolisse Creme Riche Hydrante – Instead of using my normal daily moisturiser on days when I don’t wear any makeup, I’ve been reaching for this one from Embryolisse instead. It works to hydrate my dry, dehydrated skin and makes it less tight and more comfortable. It’s not great for under makeup as it’s really thick but if I apply it about an hour before my makeup then it does work. I’ve found that using this also means that my makeup looks better on my face as there’s no flaky patches of dry skin.

Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar candle – This isn’t really a beauty product, but I did get it from Notino. The Bath and Body Works scents are amazing and the Warm Vanilla Sugar fragrance is my absolute favourite. If I could burn this candle 24/7 I would. Unfortunately, they’re quite hard to get hold of in the UK which is why I have picked mine up from Notino. Even when the candle isn’t lit, the fragrance fills the room and it smells so good!
